Our employees feel that it is imperative to give back to the communities in which we live and work. Therefore, when we aren’t hard at work in the office, there’s a good chance you might find us volunteering at community events, attending and working at school functions, sitting on the board of different community or school organizations and supporting a variety of local events and charities.
I have worked in the insurance industry since 2008, at which time I re-entered the workforce after my children were all in school. I have been with Southern Iowa Insurance Services since 2011 and assumed the position of manager in 2014. I am licensed in Property, Casualty, Crop, Life, Accident and Health insurance in the Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. I currently hold a CISR Elite (Certified Insurance Services Representative) certificate. I am working toward my CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), Farm Mutual Director Certification and Professional Farm Mutual Manager Certification.
I have been married to my husband, Jeremy since 1998. We live on a small farm with our German Shorthair pup, Tucker. We have three adult children, Ethan, Gunther and Abbigail. Our favorite thing is spending time together as a family whenever possible. We spend countless hours volunteering and supporting a variety of community organizations. Jeremy and I are both very active members of our local volunteer fire department. When not at work, I enjoy being outdoors. I also love photography, be it shooting outdoor scenery or photos of our friends, family and of course, Tucker.

I began my insurance career with Southern Iowa Insurance Services in 2018. I am licensed in Property, Casualty, Crop, Life, Accident and Health insurance. I am usually the first friendly smile you will see when you visit our office.
I am a native of West Point. I’ve been involved in the community for most of my life working at my family’s restaurant here in town. Providing a positive, friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service have been instilled in me from a very young age.
I currently live in West Point with my three kids; Brennan, Breeann and Brody. All three of my kids are very involved with sports and other school activities. I enjoy attending their school functions and just living my best life.

I began working with insurance by volunteering at Southern Iowa Insurance Services in 2013. I officially began working as a part-time Administrative Assistant at the agency in 2018, doing whatever was needed to assist April and Brittany. In 2019, I passed all of the exams and received my licenses in Property, Casualty, Crop, Life, Accident and Health insurance. I am currently working on completing some certifications related to insurance, including Certified Insurance Service Representative, Farm Mutual Director and Professional Farm Mutual Manager.
I reside in West Point and will graduate with my Business Management degree from SCC in January 2022. Outside of being a full-time student and working full-time at Southern Iowa Insurance Services, I am involved in a variety of community organizations. I am a member of the West Point Fireworks Committee, Secretary-Treasurer of the board of directors for Lee County Mutual Insurance Association and an assistant coach for Fort Madison Clay Crushers trap team. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, shooting trap and being outdoors.
